Influência da temperatura de cura na hidratação e desempenho mecânico de matrizes de cimento LC³

Resumo

O cimento LC³ (cimento de argila calcinada e calcário) pode reduzir em até 40% as emissões de CO em relação ao cimento Portland comum (CPC), mantendo bom desempenho mecânico e durabilidade. Sua composição permite compensar efeitos negativos da cura a vapor, técnica usada para acelerar a hidratação e viabilizar a desforma rápida de elementos pré-fabricados, mas que pode comprometer propriedades a depender da temperatura. Este estudo avaliou o impacto das temperaturas de 40°C e 60°C na cura a vapor de pastas de LC³ e CPC, com foco na hidratação e resistência mecânica. O LC³ apresentou melhor desempenho que o CPC, alcançando resistências de 27 MPa (1 dia) e 32 MPa (28 dias) com cura a 40°C, que se mostrou mais eficiente. Assim, o LC³ reforça seu potencial como alternativa sustentável e eficaz para a produção de pré-fabricados, unindo produtividade e menor pegada de carbono.
