Resistência à água de geopolímero de rejeito de minério de ferro ativado por ácido fosfórico

Este estudo investiga a síntese de geopolímeros à base de fosfato (GBF) a partir de rejeito de minério de ferro (RMF), visando avaliar sua resistência mecânica e durabilidade em meio úmido. Foram analisadas diferentes concentrações de ácido fosfórico (8M, 10M e 12M) e variações na relação líquido/sólido (L/S), com cura a 50°C. Os resultados indicam que concentrações mais elevadas aumentam a resistência inicial, mas podem comprometer a resistência ao longo do tempo. A resistência à água é um desafio, com reduções de até 64% após imersão, evidenciando a necessidade de otimização dos parâmetros de síntese. O estudo sugere maiores investigações na temperatura de cura e dopagem química do material precursor para melhorar a durabilidade do material. Essas descobertas contribuem para o desenvolvimento de materiais cimentícios sustentáveis, promovendo o reaproveitamento de resíduos industriais na construção civil.
