BIM maturity at Universidade Federal da Bahia

Building Information Modeling (BIM) teaching in Brazil must be promoted in a strategic and integrated way with the academic environment, allowing the union and development of competencies. This article presents and discusses the BIM maturity of the Universidade Federal da Bahia, evaluated from undergraduate courses in Architecture and Urbanism and Civil Engineering, in Salvador. The authors used a BIM maturity model for higher education institutions existing in the literature and suggested revisions to the model. The results indicate that the institution has an integrated maturity level.
