Abstract

As its theme, this paper analyses the 3D printing process of a truss, from its modeling to the final printed product. To do so, a bibliographical survey was made about the theme of 3D printing, its history, and the printing process. Then, the truss was modeled using Autodesk Revit 2022 software and printed using GTMax Core H5. Some difficulties were encountered while making the modeling compatible with the printing software, requiring a readjustment of the model. The printed truss kept fidelity with the 3D modeling, having almost identical dimensions.
