Bibliometric evaluation of the scientific production in building plumbing systems in the Brazilian State of Goiás

Historically, studies of building plumbing systems have greater relevance and are concentrated in the southeast-south axis of Brazil. In mid-2002, the Federal University of Goiás was a pioneer in the development of research in the area at the mid-west, thus internalizing the study of building systems in the country. The objective of this article is to carry out a bibliometric study of scientific production regarding building plumbing systems associated with stricto sensu postgraduate programs in the state of Goiás between the years 2002 and 2023. This survey was carried out through the analysis of production data bibliography of supervisors and students linked to postgraduate programs with a line of research in the area of interest of this work. Over the 21 years evaluated, 24 master's theses were defended, consolidating academic research on building systems in the Brazilian Center-West. There was a large number of publications in internationally relevant journals with a significant number of citations, in addition to several works published in national and international conferences.
