Abstract

This work evaluated the influence of partial replacement of Portland cement by residue from ornamental stone processing in the concrete carbonation process in a natural environment in the cities of Pelotas/RS and Rio Grande/RS. The residue was used in proportions of 5%, 7.5% and 10% replacement in mass to cement. The results showed differences between the reference mix and concrete with residue, and differences between cities, with Rio Grande presenting the lowest carbonation averages.
