The Construction and Demolition Waste (CDW) can be reused in civil construction as recycled aggregate. However, the material’s variability makes it difficult to determine its properties and its use in the production of concrete. To obtain a higher quality aggregate, processing techniques coarse CDW aggregates are used. Thus, the aim of the article is to analyze methods of separation of recycled aggregates based on concrete performance criteria using research data from the literature. From the analyses, it was determined that dense liquid separation was the most effective separation method for coarse recycled aggregate.
