This study analyzed the feasibility of using boiler ash (CC) for the production of mortars. CC were characterized physically and chemically. Mortars with a mix of 1:3 by mass were produced, with replacement contents of 0, 5, 10, 15 and 20% and w/c ratio of 0.7. The increase in the replacement content caused a reduction in workability and mass density and an increase in the incorporated air content, water absorption and porosity for all mortars. There was maintenance of compressive strength at 10 and 15% grades and an increase at 20% grade, compared to the reference.
