Abstract

The objective of the study was to develop particleboards made of agroindustry by-products, to compose the sandwich panel cores. The use of panels in civil construction refers to the accomplishment of performance normative requirements. For a correct specification of the panels, the durability in relation to water should be evaluated. The proposed discussion of the study was based on the review of papers over the subject. This paper goal was study of the physical properties thickness swelling in 24 hours (I) and moisture content (UM). The results indicated the general non-structural internal commercial use in dry conditions.
