O CICLO DA GESTÃO DE RESÍDUOS DA CONSTRUÇÃO CIVIL NA UFRGS

Abstract

The Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul is responsible for managing the solid waste generated by it, according to the Brazilian law Nº 12.305/2010. To reduce environmental impact, effective environmental management policies have been implemented with the improvement of data acquisition. The use of control spreadsheets for the generation, collection, transport and disposal of civil construction waste; the treatment of data and the availability of graphics on the institution’s Data Panel, in addition to contributing to the transparency of the information required from public corporations, has contributed to the continuous improvement of the University’s waste management processes and ensured the environmental correct destination.
