Abstract

The use of waste as a raw material for the Civil Construction Industry is gaining more and more notoriety. However, to assess the feasibility of this use, more accurate analyzes should be carried out regarding its real contribution to sustainability parameters. The objective of this work is to evaluate these parameters for pavers produced with waste tires and sugarcane bagasse ash. Aspects such as: reduction in the consumption of natural resources, neutralization of contaminants, CO2 emissions and costs were analyzed. The results demonstrate that the use of the proposed waste meets the sustainable parameters evaluated within the proposed use.
