The aim of this study is to present the pedagogical activity "What's in this construction waste container?", as the main product generated (a collective map), and the feedback from participating students. By organizing cards with different identification information, the class was divided into pairs for photographic recording. The requested information to build a collective map (via crowdsourcing), where it was possible to visualize the distribution of evaluated dumpsters in the territory and make some correlations. The research brings two important contributions from the perspective of the Circular Economy: (1) it presents an example of a pedagogical activity that can be developed in Architecture and Urbanism and Civil Engineering courses; (2) the collective map produced can serve as a database for future decision-making in the municipality to assist in the management of the waste present in these dumpsters, increasing their circularity potential in the urban environment.
