Avaliação de ciclo de vida de argamassas produzidas com fosfogesso: um estudo de caso

Este estudo analisa os impactos ambientais da produção de argamassas com fosfogesso, resíduo da indústria de fertilizantes, utilizando a metodologia de Avaliação de Ciclo de Vida (ACV). O fosfogesso substituiu parcialmente o cimento em proporções de 5% a 20%. Os resultados mostraram que as argamassas com fosfogesso reduziram o Potencial de Aquecimento Global (PAG) em até 18,71%, além de apresentarem menores impactos em categorias como toxicidade humana e ecotoxicidade aquática. O transporte representou 29% do impacto total, sendo um fator crítico, enquanto a gestão de resíduos teve impacto mínimo. A etapa de produção foi a segunda maior responsável por emissões. Conclui-se que o uso de fosfogesso é uma alternativa viável para reduzir emissões, promover a economia circular e valorizar resíduos industriais na construção civil. Estudos futuros devem focar em otimizações logísticas e desempenho mecânico a longo prazo.
