This study investigates the impact of using three different agricultural residues, bamboo biochar, rice husk ash and sugarcane bagasse ash in mortars, as an addition. The investigation was carried out using additions to evaluate their impact in scenarios of reduction in cement content to verify whether the presence of these additions is sufficient to mitigate the reduction in hydration products caused by a reduction of up to 30% in cement. Compressive strength tests demonstrated that the use of some of these materials as additions presents favorable results, as is the case with rice husk ash. The use of this ash in 10% of the cement mass can be sufficient to supply a 20% reduction in cement consumption.
