Uma análise PESTEL sobre os desafios para a adoção da Indústria 4.0 na construção

Resumo

A adoção de soluções vinculadas à Indústria 4.0 na construção — na denominada Construção 4.0 — surge como uma alternativa para superar os entraves do setor e aprimorar seu desempenho. Embora os benefícios associados, como redução de custos, prazos e aumento da qualidade, sejam reconhecidos, a implementação dessas tecnologias pelas empresas ainda é limitada. Neste trabalho objetiva-se identificar os principais desafios para a adoção das dimensões digitais da Construção 4.0. A metodologia adotada baseou-se em uma revisão sistemática da literatura, que resultou na identificação e análise de dez categorias de desafios: Capacidade das tecnologias, Cultura organizacional, Padronização, Adaptação de novas tecnologias, Investimento financeiro, Obsolescência, Qualificação profissional, Cibersegurança e Privacidade, Legislação e regulamentação e Políticas Públicas e Setoriais. Complementarmente, realizou-se uma análise PESTEL (Político, Econômico, Social, Tecnológico, Ambiental e Legal) dessas categorias, com o objetivo de compreender os macrofatores que influenciam sua aplicação no contexto da construção civil. Na teoria, os resultados contribuem ao destacar fatores pouco abordados na literatura como Adaptação de novas tecnologias, Obsolescência e Políticas Públicas e Setoriais neste contexto. Na prática, este artigo contribui ao identificar fatores de tomada de decisão essenciais a estratégias vinculadas à adoção das tecnologias da Indústria 4.0 na construção.
