Abstract

This paper aims to analyze mortar traces with the incorporation of residues from the cellulose industry (dregs and grits). The characterization of the residues was carried out through X-ray diffraction, laser diffraction granulometry, and scanning electron microscopy. The partial replacement of the aggregate at 10% content was carried out and, at 7, 14 and 28 days of cure, the mortars were tested, with mechanical resistance tests in terms of tensile strength in bending, compression, capillarity, and shrinkage. The results showed potential use, becoming an alternative for large extraction of natural aggregates, providing a reduction in environmental impacts.
