APLICAÇÃO E ANÁLISE DA ISO 16251-1 PARA DETERMINAÇÃO DA REDUÇÃO SONORA AO IMPACTO DE REVESTIMENTO RESILIENTE FLEXÍVEL

The impact noise in floors in Brazil has been a subject with greater evidence after the publication of NBR 15575 (ABNT, 2013), where the performance requirements in residential buildings are addressed. In this way, manufacturers and suppliers of acoustic materials feel the need for faster development of their products, from the materials design, to laboratory and field tests, seeking the performance required by the sector. The recently published ISO 16251-1 (2014) provides an alternative procedure to the traditional methods for laboratory determination of impact sound insulation (ISO 10140-3, 2013), with a compact slab of low cost and operational simplicity. This research applies ISO 16251-1 (2014) and analyzes its results comparatively to other methods, using a flexible resilient covering composed of polyurethane agglomerated recycled tire granules. The results obtained for the weighted impact sound reduction in three different thicknesses were 24 dB - 3 mm, 25 dB – 5 mm and 29 dB - 8 mm, being compatible with the manufacturer's technical data sheet (21 dB – 3 mm and 26 dB – 8 mm), and with the research results by the traditional method (24 dB – 5 mm and 25 dB – 8 mm) applied by Siqueira et al. (2018). Comparing with an analytical method, the increase slope of 40 dB/decade in the octave third frequency bands is consistent, however the experimental procedure adopted has characteristics that are not approached by the theoretical method, influencing the distancing of the analytical results to the case study.
