Abstract

The importance of urban parks is notorious as an element for regulating the hygrometric conditions of urban environments, improving the thermal comfort of users and the surrounding region. This research is being carried out in the municipality of Cuiabá-MT, located between the geographic coordinates of 15º10 ', 15º50' south latitude and 50º50 ', 50º10' west longitude, in the central region of Brazil, called cuiabana depression. The proposal is to collect the data in the two seasons of the year (hot-dry and hot-humid) and to analyze the influence of microclimate and the relationship between soil surface coatings in determining the thermal performance of the Tia Nair Park. The results obtained differ from those of the theoretical bibliographies consulted being one of the determining factors of the uneven distribution between permeable surface / vegetal cover and poorly permeable coatings.
