CONFORTO E ATMOSFERA
UMA AVALIAÇÃO FOTO-ELICITATIVA DO LARGO DA ORDEM DE CURITIBA
Keywords:
atmosphere, environmental comfort, post-occupation evaluation, photo-elicitationAbstract
This article aims to understand the variations of emotional comfort of users and frequenters of the order of Curitiba, and how the different atmospheres of this place affect them, through photo-elicitation. For this, research was carried out in which photos of the space were presented at different moments and conditions of use for a non-random group of interviewees. These answered what sensations the different images made them feel and what was their emotional state prior to the research. Using Desmet's (2002) model of emotions, it was possible to find out how respondents feel emotionally about the various atmospheres of Largo. It was also possible to infer how the variations of elements that make up the atmosphere of a place can influence the sensations of its regulars and users. The results correspond to common sense, where more agitated spaces being associated with stimulation and nocturnal empty spaces produce a certain level of fear. Another important point is that people, regardless of their previous state, feel good or are positively stimulated in stable weather situations, especially on sunny days.
