MORFOLOGIA URBANA E MICROCLIMAS
ESTUDO DE FRAÇÕES URBANAS NA CIDADE DE ARAPIRACA/AL
Keywords:
urban climatology, urban morphology, microclimatic characterizationAbstract
The constant changes in the built space, related to urban growth and disorderly densification of cities, compromise the quality of the environment, affecting the local microclimate and the conditions of thermal and environmental comfort. The present research had as objective to analyze the influence of different urban fractions of the city of Arapiraca/AL on the local thermal behavior, aiming to understand the influence of the urban morphology in the microclimatic approach scale, through in loco monitoring of the air temperature variable by means of dataloggers. The methodological procedures adopted in the experimental research corresponded to three distinct stages. In the first stage, seven urban fractions were selected that presented distinct characteristics, such as constructive density, construction typology, presence/absence of vegetation and water mass. The second stage was the characterization of these urban fractions and the third stage corresponded to the monitoring of the air temperature in the period corresponding to the beginning of the summer. The data were then tabulated and calibrated for analysis. It was possible to conclude that, among the geological and geoenvironmental parameters selected and considered in the present study, the low constructive density and the presence of afforestation contributed to obtain better results in the microclimatic behavior of the different urban fractions monitored, with respect to the air temperature.
