Abstract

The article deals with a case study application in the city of Campina Grande / PB, Northeastern region of Brazil. The Programa Minha Casa Minha Vida project has 21 apartment blocks, with three modules of apartments per floor. Impossible for local climatic improvement, as insolation and control of natural resources are neglected, which is a problem of thermal comfort. The objective of this article is to analyze the natural and ninth venting an implantation post to same. Methodologically, a tool used was ANSYS CFX, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software. The results confirm that the minimum intercompact movement, favors only one unit of windward blocks, the others are prejudiced by the standardization of their template and are positioned in the "wind shadow". It is hoped to help in the reflection on the use of this tip to improve the quality of life of the users.
