ESBOÇO DE UM NOVO DIAGRAMA DE ANÁLISE CLIMÁTICA PARA MODELOS DE CONFORTO ADAPTATIVOS

Abstract

Diagrams for Climate Analysis (DCA) are developed to support decisions in the design phases of thermally efficient buildings. However, outside academia, the diagrams have been little used. Among other reasons, the low utilization is related to the professional position predominantly focused on constructive, economic and aesthetic aspects; and the problems presented by the diagrams available. Among the problems of the diagrams, it is pointed the outdate in relation to the idea of adaptive thermal comfort. This study aimed to elaborate the initial draft of a new CAD suited to the idea of the adaptive thermal comfort. As a method, the literature was reviewed critically, observing the weaknesses and strengths of existing diagrams. Starting from the issues observed in the analysis, an alternative was presented which, it is believed, will be able to meet the goal outlined.
