Microapartments in the city of São Paulo are a growing typology, being one of the most recent models adopted by the real estate market. The aim of this research is to verify which elements and architectural solutions, adopted in microapartments, designed between 2010 and 2015 in São Paulo, are the most appropriate in terms of thermo-luminous performance. The method of this research includes the choice of the buildings, empirical measures, processing of the data, analysis and discussion of the results. Therefore, the empirical measures were made in five distinct units, to compare the performance in different architectural solutions that allows us to compare the results and see which solution is the most adequate for the termoluminous performance in the city of São Paulo. The criteria used is the thermal adaptive comfort (ASHRAE 55, 2017) and the useful daylight illuminance (UDI). During the winter measures, the thermal performance is low, while the luminous performance is satisfactory. However, during the summer, the thermal and luminous performance are both satisfactory. The performance of the unit with double-skin facade has stood out in the summer, in contrast to the standard unit that has stood out in the winter.
