ANÁLISE DE DESEMPENHO ENERGÉTICO DO EDIFÍCIO DO BDMG EM BELO HORIZONTE-MG

Abstract

The most efficient use of energy in the last decades has been the subject of discussions in the world. The construction, use and maintenance of buildings can contribute through the implementation of actions aimed at energy efficiency. The BDMG building, Banco de Desenvolvimento de Minas Gerais, recently, was the subject of a management plan to reduce energy consumption. The objective of this work was to determine the results achieved with the implementation of sustainability actions; parametrize the pattern of electric energy consumption, according to a range established for the same typology of the building in the city, in a benchmarking; and to investigate the user's perception of environmental comfort conditions. It was done a survey of the electric energy consumption before and after the implementation of the actions of exchanges of fluorescent lamps by LED, and through the results, it was possible to validate the reduction rate in 22.20%. The energy performance of the building was classified in B and A, respectively, of the main and annex buildings, which means that the building fits among the 44% totally conditioned buildings of the same classification that exist in the city. The research on user’s perception allowed the understanding of the interrelation between the conditions of environmental comfort and the consumption of energy. The result was very good and demonstrates the importance of promoting actions in search of improvements in the physical performance of buildings and user satisfaction for the effectiveness of sustainability.
