AVALIAÇÃO DE DESEMPENHO ENERGÉTICO DE UMA EDIFICAÇÃO HISTÓRICA EM GOIÂNIA

Abstract

The cultural identity of a people is closely linked to the historical architecture of the place and the life history of the inhabitants of that region. When it comes to energy issues, in Brazil, few studies address the theme in historical buildings. In this sense, this work focuses on the study of a historic building of the city of Goiânia, the Cultural Center Marieta Telles Machado. The present work proposed to evaluate its energy performance following the prescriptive method established in the Technical Requirements of the Quality for the Energy Efficiency Level of Commercial, Services and Public Buildings - RTQ-C. For this, documentary analysis, visual inspection and measurements were performed to obtain thermal properties of the building components with the use of thermofluximeter and spectrometer. From the data analysis it was possible to classify the energy efficiency level and identify problematic aspects of the envelope, and air conditioning and lighting systems. These analyzes may help in the selection of retrofit strategies focused on reducing energy consumption and improving environmental comfort.
