ANÁLISE COMPORTAMENTAL ASSOCIADA AO CONFORTO TÉRMICO EM UM PARQUE URBANO DA CIDADE DE SÃO CARLOS-SP

Abstract

Urban parks formed by green areas contribute positively to the quality of life of users of these spaces, both by providing satisfactory microclimates to human comfort, as well as by environmental and leisure issues. This work aimed to analyze the behavior of users of an urban space in the city of São Carlos - SP and to establish a correlation of this behavior with the conditions of sunlight and shading. For this, an urban park in the city of São Carlos was selected and characterized. After that, a study of sunshine and shading of the park was carried out on the winter and summer solstices, as well as in the autumn and spring. Behavioral maps were developed based on analyzes related to the behavior of users of the space and associated with the study of sunstroke and shading. The results demonstrated the relationship between the permanence and use of users with shaded areas and prove the importance of vegetation and shaded areas, creating microclimates and providing an improvement in the quality of life of users.
