In view of the various possibilities of implementing renewable energy capture technologies, there is a need for an indepth study comparing the feasibility of applying each of systems, the source of which solar energy. Thus, the propose of this work is to evaluate the cost-benefit of the individual and mixed implementation of the photovoltaic systems for electric energy demand, solar water heating system and/or their mixed uses, in order to meet their respective demands. For this test, a real model of a building was used. It is a twinned unit of the social housing located in the city of Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul. For the feasibility study of both systems, computer software was used to obtain the technical sizing results, and financial comparisons based on savings investment, by prescriptive methods in compliance with the current economic indicator and standards. Thus, the economic and technical feasibility results of the proposed cases are reached, aiming to identify the different investment scenarios.
