The design of schools in Colombia must comply with the standard NTC 4595: Planning and Design of Facilities and School Environments, however, compliance with its recommendations does not determine in all cases, classrooms that comply with the comfort ranges. This contribution is based on a doctoral research carried out in the year 20017, and its objective is to evaluate compliance with the public colleague standard, in order to identify the topics with the highest and lowest compliance when designing class spaces. The methodology used was the environmental audit conducted in two classrooms in each school. (on the ground and upper floors), rainy and dry period. The audit allows to compare the environmental parameters, registered through specialized measurement equipment (objective measurement), with the student opinion survey (subjective measurement). A total of 535 students between 8 and 16 years of age responded to the opinion poll on the environmental conditions of the classroom. In general, in the topics of visual and thermal comfort there is greater compliance, with the areas of the openings, the point where all the classrooms meet. However, the items with less compliance, are those that require a deep thermal and visual properties of materials, or expertise in bioclimatic. The acoustic comfort, is the one of less compliance, which can be the result of the general of the norm, or in the lack of a specific knowledge necessary, again, in the properties of the materials and bioclimatic
