INVESTIGAÇAO DAS CONDIÇÕES TÉRMICAS DE UMA PRAÇA EM PALMAS-TO, ATRAVÉS DE SIMULAÇÃO COMPUTACIONAL COM SOFTWARE ENVI-MET

Abstract

Among the skills of Architecture and Urbanism professional is to provide environmental comfort to the users through the project, be it architectural, urban or landscaping. For this, there are computer simulation tools that help in the investigation and guarantee satisfactory indexes of thermal, acoustic and luminous comfort. Thus, this study aims to evaluate the termal conditions of the Square of Girassóis located in Palmas / TO, in relation to the air temperature and the average temperature of the materials, using computer simulation with ENVI-met program. Among the results found, the highest values of temperature occur in the middle of the afternoon until the night time by virtue of the conductivity coefficient of the materials applied.
