AVALIAÇÃO PÓS-OCUPAÇÃO DA CÂMARA BIOCLIMÁTICA DE BAIXO CUSTO (CBBC)

Abstract

CBBC is in operation since the beginning of 2018. It is a laboratory consisting of two independent modules, control module (CM), maintaining the original characteristics of the modules and the experimental module (EM), which can be adjusted to various experiments. Conceived under the premise of replicable and low-cost solutions, the laboratory is dedicated to comparative studies of indoor comfort and overall performance of buildings. This paper aims to present a diagnosis of the comfort conditions perceived by the users in the Post-Occupancy Evaluation (POE) held in March 2019 seeking the analysis by users. The methodology used in the experiment, the monitored environmental variables and the results obtained from the POE applied to 126 students are described. For the survey, an additional window was added to the original one in EM. The sample sought to balance the distribution according to biological sex and course of origin of the volunteers. The results showed in general satisfaction with the thermal (76%) and luminous (71%) environment and less so with the acoustic (45%) environment. It is observed that EM presented greater satisfaction in relation to acoustic comfort conditions than CM.
