UMA FERRAMENTA ANDROID PARA O ESTUDO DAS CARTAS SOLARES

Abstract

This paper aims to present a tool for mobile devices with Android system and spread the knowledge of solar charts, becoming a didactic aid instrument for teaching environmental comfort and analysis of sunstroke in buildings. The use of active methodologies in the teaching of environmental comfort requires the direct participation of the student in the teaching and learning process and currently, the tools that are available are associated with the use of a computer. This application appears as an alternative for students to use on their own mobile device and thus ensure greater autonomy in conceptual and design discussions, while also avoiding staying in Computer Labs, spaces that are usually confined and without natural ventilation. ArqSolar intends to contribute to changing paradigms in the teaching of environmental comfort, making content understandable more quickly and ensuring mobility in the search for information, an urgent challenge nowadays.
