UMA APRESENTAÇÃO SOBRE TUBOS DE CALOR EM ENVOLTÓRIAS DE EDIFICAÇÕES COMO SISTEMA PASSIVO PARA CONDICIONAMENTO TÉRMICO
Keywords:
heat pipes, passive system, envelope, building, energy efficiencyAbstract
The use of heat pipes implemented in envelope of the building as a passive system solution for important environmental conditioning, due to the high heat transfer efficiency of the system. This document aims to provide a review of experimental and theoretical studies published in the last ten years on applications of heat pipes in the envelope of the building as a passive system. The results of the article are divided into three parts. The first consists of the principles of operation of walls implanted with heat tubes / thermosyphons. The second stage refers to the performance of seals with heat tubes, including the thermal response of the walls, selected tubes, geometry, types of fluids, the proposition of the technologies, whether they were designed to heat or cool environments, and, what type of wall system integrated with HPs. Finally, the third stage includes studies on the thermoenergetic performance of environments with embedded HP walls, investigated climates, materials used in the envelopes and applications. Assessing the studies found, it is possible to observe the existence of several gaps that report the presented theme, mainly in what concerns to experimental researches in real scale, the use of the system in cooling and as thermal barrier in the summer season, and papers that deal with the thermal comfort of the environments.
