Abstract

This work in the initial state, has as object of study the thermal performance of buildings and the thermal comfort for users of small residential apartments (of 50 m²) with facades totally or partially protected and recently launched in the city of São Paulo - SP. The thermal analyzes will be carried out using computer simulations based on current and future climatic data from the PROJETA - Climate Change Projections for South America Regional Model ETA of the National Institute for Space Research - INPE. The results of the analysis using computational simulation tools allow us to assess the environmental impacts, more specifically the thermal comfort and energy efficiency indexes due to qualitative and quantitative climate changes and new demands of the pandemic, city of São Paulo, quantifying or impacting decision-making over or development, building materials and components on facades can cause in or built space. Due to the increase in global temperature, over the years local phenomena of urban development, it is verified, as fundamental, the observation and previous determination of the thermal behavior of small apartments with glass facades in future centers planned for São Paulo - SP, as an intuition to verify the consequences caused to users, also observing the need to use artificial conditions within the new reality of the pandemic.”.
