Evidence-Based Design (EBD) is a design process that seeks to integrate three factors: the best available evidence, the professional's experience and the user's needs. This article explores the theoretical foundations of EBD and how this terminology has been used around the world. The research methodology used was bibliometric analysis by crossing the PubMed database with the VosViewer software for analysis. 522 works were found using this terminology, where it was possible to verify the trend of publications by the main authors over time as well as the main keywords used on the topic. The objective is to collaborate with the introduction of new researchers to an efficient path in the field of Evidence-Based Design.References
