Process of converting scans into LiDAR for BIM models for energy simulation purposes

This study proposes an automated workflow to convert LiDAR scans into BIM models compatible with energy simulations in Revit. The methodology uses pCon.scan for data collection and Dynamo with Python for automatic conversion. The results show a reduction in modeling time and direct integration with simulation tools, eliminating the need for manual remodeling. The approach optimizes energy certification, making the process more efficient and accessible.
