Urban modeling in the master plan review process

This proposal aims to contribute to the review of the Strategic Master Plan of São Caetano do Sul, through urban modeling and scenario simulation for the municipality, analyzing the impacts of the city's growth on the urban climate, through predictive methodology supported by computer simulation and use of Geographic Information System (GIS). The main contributions of this proposal are expected to: contribute to the process of reviewing the PDE; build a GIS database; generate technical reports of the modeling results, showing how the modeling helped in the process of reviewing the PDE and simulations; and develop an API (Application Programming Interface) for incorporating maps containing modeling results into the City Hall systems.
