A INFLUÊNCIA DA DENSIFICAÇÃO NO COMPORTAMENTO MICROCLIMÁTICO URBANO: ESTUDO DE CASO EM CIDADE DE CLIMA SEMIÁRIDO

Resumo

The displacement of workers from the rural to the urban center - associated with the then known Industrial Revolution - shows itself as the primordium of a phase of expansion of the city. In this growth, occurring fast and disorderly growth, urban spaces were built based on the needs of their users - initially linked to the housing issue - without adequate planning, an issue that would contribute to the emergence of innumerable problems, not guaranteeing the well-being of users. The configuration of the centers as well as the materials adopted in the buildings are relevant points, in certain cases justifying the urban problems - of which the emergence of microclimates stands out. The present work aims, therefore, to understand how the expansion affects the climatic variables in the semiarid. Being Arapiraca, Alagoan municipality, reference of the research, presents as study focus the buildings of the North University of Pará (Unopar) and the CCAA Language School. The work is based on field research and bibliographical research, making it possible to infer that the differences in materials adopted in both buildings led to a significant variation in both temperature and relative humidity.
