EVOLUÇÃO DAS FACHADAS VERTICAIS RESIDENCIAIS NA ORLA DE MACEIÓ-AL (1970-1990).

Resumo

The process of verticalization in Maceió begun in the 1960s, and brought transformations in the built environment of the city, modifying the landscape and the way of life on the Alagoas coast. This article has as main objective to trace and understand the trajectory of the main typologies of facades found in vertical apartment buildings, located in the neighborhoods of Ponta Verde, Pajuçara and Jatiúca, Maceió, between the years of 1970, beginning of verticalization in the area, until 1990, based on the cadastral analysis (plants and construction data) and photographic analysis of buildings. The selected buildings marked the architectural landscape by the innovative character in the Alagoas built environment. In order to systematize the study, some categories of analysis were used in this study, such as formal composition, constructive complexity, coatings, materials and constructive systems, as well as indicators of project rationality. In this way, we conclude the importance of the typological studies in the design of a data base that can be used for complementary research or even as a reference for new research related to the subject of the project production and its analysis.
