PROCEDIMENTOS METODOLOGICOS PARA ANÁLISES MÚLTIPLAS: A SUB-BACIA URBANA DO RIO SANTA MARIA DO DOCE EM COLATINA-ES

Resumo

The adoption of river basins as a planning unit corresponds to the need for systemic management. Thus, the sub-basin of Santa Maria do Doce River in Colatina / ES was adopted as the unit of analysis. This sub-basin was chosen because of its environmental and urban characteristics. The objective of the present work is to perform an analysis through the GIS of the physical and environmental factors, mapping the priority areas of permanent preservation(APP) of the same and verifying its relation with the urban occupation, thus giving an analysis guide that can be applied in urban planning. Firstly, a bibliographic review was carried out, based on the relationship established between urban planning and hydrographic basins and their analysis through GIS. The APPs were demarcated and land division. As a result, the maps show several permanent preservation sites overlapping with the urban land division. It was possible to verify that the urban occupation does not respect the minimum areas of environmental protection. Finally, the GIS tool proved to be an efficient material for the creation of a reliable database for urban planning.
