Impactos ambientais dos projetos de infraestrutura
Uma proposta metodológica para identificação e quantificação

O desenvolvimento acelerado das construções impulsionaram positivamente a economia, mas causaram poluições ambientais. O objetivo deste artigo foi propor um modelo para quantificar e identificar as causas dos impactos ambientais em projetos de infraestrutura urbana na fase pré-construção. A metodologia incluiu dez impactos ambientais e seis atividades construtivas, sendo distribuída em três fases: quantificação, elaboração de um inventário e identificação das causas dos impactos ambientais. Os resultados dos projetos A, B e C confirmaram cinco impactos ambientais com quantificações das razões unitárias normalizadas máximas, a saber: emissões de gases do efeito estufa com 1,00, 1,00 e 1,00; uso de energia com 0,99, 0,99 e 1,00; poluição sonora com 0,84, 0,89 e 1,00; uso das águas com 0,95, 1,00 e 0,96 e uso de recursos e matéria-prima com 1,00, 1,00 e 1,00, causados pelos métodos construtivos, máquinas, materiais e condições ambientais do projeto. Esta proposta foi a primeira iniciativa para investigar analiticamente e previamente o desempenho ambiental das futuras obras de infraestrutura, auxiliando nas estratégias da fase pré-construção. Finalmente, este primeiro esforço poderá evoluir para criar oportunidades para evitar, mitigar, reduzir ou aceitar das obras os efeitos ambientais de infraestrutura nos países em desenvolvimento.
