Resumen

The article presents a comparative study between BIM (Building Information Modeling) implementation frameworks in corporate and educational contexts, aiming to identify common elements, contextual specificities, and potential for cross-applicability. The research adopts a qualitative approach and explores various established frameworks from the scientific literature, both focused on organizational BIM adoption and its integration into academic curricula. Based on the construction of an analytical matrix, the study reveals that, although operating in distinct environments, the frameworks share structural pillars such as processes, technology, and people. In the corporate sector, the emphasis lies on performance, governance, and measurable outcomes, with a strong role played by technical leadership. In contrast, the educational context prioritizes competency-based learning, cognitive taxonomies, and the central role of pedagogical mediation. The analysis also highlights the potential for convergence between both spheres: education can benefit from industry practices such as the definition of indicators and the use of pilot projects, while companies can adopt pedagogical methodologies focused on continuous development. The article concludes that integrating educational and organizational strategies can strengthen BIM maturity and contribute to building a more collaborative and innovative culture in the construction sector.
