Ambientes biofílicos em realidade virtual: uma revisão sistemática de literatura sobre indicadores fisiológicos e psicológicos

O contato visual com elementos naturais tem impacto positivo na restauração da saúde mental e bem-estar humano. Entretanto, com o crescimento urbano, as áreas verdes foram sendo suprimidas, perdendo espaço para o concreto e contribuindo para desconexão do ser humano com a natureza. Este estudo analisa os efeitos da exposição a ambientes biofílicos em realidade virtual (RV) nos indicadores fisiológicos e psicológicos humanos por meio de uma revisão de literatura. Os resultados mostraram que a imersão em ambientes biofílicos virtuais contribuiu na redução da pressão arterial, frequência cardíaca e cortisol, além de aumentar a variabilidade da frequência cardíaca e promover maior sensação de relaxamento em comparação a sujeitos expostos a cenas sem a presença de elementos biofílicos. Conclui-se que a biofilia em RV é um importante instrumento de restauração da saúde em diversos tipos de ambientes, principalmente aqueles em que a presença da natureza é restrita ou controlada.
