Urban climate originates from morphology and land-use characteristics in urban spaces. The level of verticalization, the presence of vegetation and urban density are influencing factors of climatic variables generating different microclimates within the city. The aim of this study was to obtain bioclimatic strategies arising from local climate data from different locations in terms of land use and occupation, exemplified for the city of London, England. The significance of distinct microclimates was evaluated in terms of obtained building directives using the Climate Consultant package version 6.0 and its psychrometric charts. Stewart and Oke’s proposal of Local Climate Zones was used for classifying different morphologies. Weather data were obtained from the online platform Weather Underground. The analysis of the longitudinal profile of ambient temperature revealed the formation of urban heat islands in more densely occupied areas with reduced vegetation cover. As for architectural guidelines, psychrometric charts displayed considerable differences with respect to the LCZ of the several points analyzed.
