O IMPACTO DAS FACHADAS ENVIDRAÇADAS REFLEXIVAS NA CIDADE
DESENVOLVIMENTO DE METODOLOGIA DE MEDIÇÃO PARA ANÁLISE DO CONFORTO TÉRMICO URBANO

The reflective glazing elements used in vertical commercial building facades, when subjected to the influence of direct or indirect solar radiation, reflecting it excessively in the external environment, may lead to an increase in the surface temperature of the urban elements and cause great thermal discomfort to passersby. This article aims to define a methodology of urban thermal measurement influenced by this reflection, because the subject is little explored in the literature, which goes to evaluate more thoroughly the thermal effects of this radiation internal to the buildings. In this purpose, the buildings with this typology of the city of Vitória-ES were cataloged and a building was chosen to carry out the study that had one of the orientations most influenced by the apparent trajectory of the Sun for the region of the city (Latitude 20ºS). The data were measured with a thermometer, an infrared thermometer, a solar energy meter and a thermographic camera. The results showed promising answers regarding the technique used, with a difference of more than 12 ° C of surface temperature between urban elements with and without influence of the direct solar radiation reflected in the glass elements. Therefore, it is essential to deepen this area of research to trace parameters to governmental actions to prevent the unregulated use of these vitreous elements in facades of vertical buildings, in view of the big impact on the environmental conditions of their surroundings.
