INDÍCIOS DE ISOLAMENTO ACÚSTICO DE RUÍDO DE IMPACTO SOCIALMENTE ESTRATIFICADO EM MINAS GERAIS

Abstract

Standard NBR 15.575 published by the Brazilian Technical Standard Association ABNT gave rise to investigations in the housing sector of the national civil building industry, which is looking for information on the acoustic performance of building floors and other subjects. In this context, the purpose of this paper is to present data on impact noise insulation of floors of some new buildings in the Minas Gerais state, in Brazil, inside and outside metropolitan zone of Belo Horizonte city. The data is necessary in order to verify if there is accordance with standard criteria. Results pointed at the fact that lower social class in Mina Gerais is living in new apartaments which do not agree with the standard criteria, revealing a possible social stratification in impact noise insulation.
