ESTUDO PILOTO SOBRE APLICAÇÃO DA NORMATIVA ENERPHIT EM UM EDIFÍCIO HISTÓRICO DE PELOTAS, RS
Keywords:
Energy efficiency, EnerPHit, historic buildingAbstract
Concerns about climate change and the expectation of increased energy consumption, according to Directive 20-20, contribute to the development of research aimed at the energy efficiency of buildings. In overall terms, EnerPHit is a certification that has grown in recent years in the European context, contributing to the reduction in energy demand in historic buildings. In this scenario, this research aims to verify the feasibility of applying EnerPHit in a historic building in the city of Pelotas, RS. As a first stage of the investigation, the literature review collected information about EnerPHit and the conservation legislation of historical built heritage. In the later stage, through computational simulation, the building used as the object of analysis was modeled as a base model, followed by models with improvements, until reaching the energy efficiency standard of EnerPHit. Then, the results of the simulations were analyzed to ascertain the thermal and energy behavior of the building and the impacts of these modifications on the building envelope. At the end, the building had 19kWh/m².year in the heating demand, 33kWh/m².year in the primary energy consumption and 5% in the cold discomfort, being within the maximum criteria allowed by EnerPHit. In addition, the modifications made, focusing on the inclusion of passive strategies and efficient climate systems, did not change the architectural characteristics of the building, following the principles of preservation of historical heritage. However, the research is still at an early stage, and a larger number of studies are needed to confirm the hypothesis.
