“ILUMINAÇÃO NATURAL EM ESPAÇO ESCOLAR EM VITÓRIA-ES”
Keywords:
natural lighting, illuminance, schoolAbstract
The visual comfort of school spaces is an issue that must be carefully addressed during the architectural design process. This research aims to analyze the light performance of a classroom in Vitória-ES. The methodology used consisted of simulations with the TropLux 8 software, in the dynamic sky of Vitória-ES, Northeast orientation, in a school environment. Percentages of UDIs, Uniformity, Daylight Autonomy and Isolux curves were analyzed in relation to the solar chart. As for the Solar Chart, an analysis took place for 6 points in the indoor environment. As for the UDIs and Daylight Autonomy, the analyzes were performed for all days of the year, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. As for uniformity, the 21st of each month was analyzed at 8:00 am, 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm. As for the isolux curves, the analyzes were performed for March 21, June and December, at 10:00 am, 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm. The main observations are that, in general, the levels of natural lighting are adequate for carrying out the activities, although direct sunlight is detected in the indoor environment in some rows of the room. It can also be seen that, in relation to the IDUs, approximately 80% of the hours of daylighting are satisfactory for carrying out activities, despite the uniformity having been detected at low levels, with only a small improvement in the time of 2 pm. As for Daylight Autonomy, natural light autonomy was found in 100% of the hours of the simulated days. As for the Isolux Curves, the entire area of the environment has illuminance values in accordance with NBR ISO / CIE 8995-1: 2013 and also in accordance with the satisfactory range of percentages of the UDIs.
