INFLUÊNCIA DE JANELA DUPLICADA NA QUALIDADE DO AMBIENTE INTERNO DE UMA CÂMARA BIOCLIMÁTICA DE BAIXO CUSTO

This paper analyses the influence of a duplicated window system in thermal, luminous and acoustic comfort as well as air quality, seeking to evaluate the impact of duplicating windows on the indoor environmental quality of a Bioclimatic Chamber. Monitoring variables and comparing the results obtained in the Control Module and the Experimental Module, it was found that the duplicated window system was responsible for decreasing the thermal amplitude, maintaining lower temperatures on hot days, increasing sound insulation and reduction of periods of glare. On the other hand, as a result of the better sealing, the double system was responsible for reducing air change in the Chamber, which instigates the reflection about the balance between environmental comfort and the importance of air renewal, especially after the establishment of the COVID-19 pandemic.
