O IMPACTO ERGONÔMICO PARA O IDOSO EM ATIVIDADES DE TRABALHO EM UMA COZINHA

Abstract

In 2020, the world needed to remain in lockdown for a long period and the elderly, as they belong to the group at greatest risk for symptoms and reactions to the SARS-CoV-2 virus, needed to stay longer at home. Considering the specificities of this target audience and with the purpose of contributing to the verifications of the characteristics of the domestic environment, this article carried out an ergonomic assessment of the domestic activity of an elderly woman who was in a home office during the pandemic. The methodological approach involved the application of ergonomic tools such as the Nordic questionnaire and the REBA method, supported by the Kinovea software. As a result, it can be highlighted that there are determinants of the three domains of ergonomics - physical, cognitive and organizational - that interfere in the development of activities by the elderly, causing pain, irritability and overload. Through the diagnosis, recommendations were proposed for improvements in the home environment for the short, medium and long term.
