ANÁLISE DO CONFORTO TÉRMICO EM EVENTOS REALIZADOS NA ESPLANADA DO ESTÁDIO GOVERNADOR MAGALHÃES PINTO (MINEIRÃO)

The stadium Governador Magalhães Pinto (Mineirão), located in Belo Horizonte, capital of Minas Gerais, hosts several events of worldwide importance, such as 2014 FIFA World Cup. From its renovation in 2012, encouraged by the World Cup, Mineirão stadium now has a terrace for events. Thus, it is the objective of this research to evaluate thermal comfort in this terrace. Considering the current reality of the COVID-19 pandemic, confined spaces with crowding present great risk of contamination, valuing, therefore, the open and wide spaces for events. For this, this research adopted a methodology, which through simulations with computational tools and on site measurements of environmental variables (temperature, humidity and wind) will be evaluated the thermal comfort conditions in the place. After analyzing the data, some simulations of different interventions and project proposals will be carried out, always seeking improvements in the thermal comfort on site. This research is in development, with no results analyzed so far.
